Seaweed is used sushi and other Japanese foods, but who knew it also made really cool lamps?
These naturistic seaweed lamps are the work of UK-based artist Julia Lohmann. The artist uses a laser to imprint geometric patterns on strips of kelp. The result are terrific algae lampshades.
