Yes, Prosecco fans in the UK, Xmas is well and truly here: you can now grow your own Prosecco at home.
The Gluttonous Gardener is currently selling a Grow Your Own Prosecco Gift Crate, priced at £38/$48.69 that includes a grape vine that has been specially chosen for its ability to grow in a variety of climates, so you can enjoy a sparkling taste of Italy despite the great. All you need is a large pot – it will even grow inside, so you don't actually need any outside space.
The kit also comes with instructions on how to grow, harvest and transform your grapes into delicous Prosecco, with unique labels so you can personalise your homemade fizz.
However, it can take roughly six to 18 months for the Prosecco to become drinkable, so this is a gift for the patient drinker, but if you have a Prosecco fan in your life and want to give them the perfect gift (okay, so it's a bit late for Xmas now, but they'll be too busy drinking the stuff over the holidays), then this could be perfect.
