When is hot cocoa not a good idea? Here's a wonderfully easy recipe for making hot cocoa in the slow cooker for those times when you are feeding a crowd or simply not up to the task of standing at the stove hoping the pot won't spill over.
This hot cocoa slow cooker recipe is just the thing to prepare on game day or when hosting a massive slumber party. It's effortless to make and stays warm so you can go back for seconds (this recipe is so good it's "like drinking a brownie").
You'll need whole milk, heavy cream, a can of condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate and a dash of vanilla extract. Everything gets thrown into the slow cooker and cooked at a low setting for two hours. All that's left to do is whisk and enjoy.
