Here’s a new one: Skype and Heston Blumenthal have collaborated to create a new Skype bot that delivers recipe ideas, cooking tips, quizzes and more from the three Michelin star chef to you for free.
The Heston Bot will deliver new seasonal recipes every month, plus more titbits in between to help you learn new techniques and generally boost your food knowledge.
It’s an intriguing idea and having tested it out, we can report that it’s totally worthwhile and requires very little effort. For example, for April you get five different recipe ideas, advice on how to carve a roast, a flavour pairing quiz and an insight into Blumenthal’s own culinary inspirations.
All you need to do is search for ‘Heston Bot’ in the Skype Bot Directory and Blumenthal will be popping up almost immediately with some top tips. Watch the man himself explain a little more below.
