The restaurant, headed up by Grant Achatz, recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and is set to close in January for a complete reconceptualisation, at which point Alinea will also pop-up in Madrid and Miami.
The People’s Poll was decided by diners filling in a simple online survey about their favourite restaurant experience. Alinea was 9th on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2014.
