E3: "I Was the Only Black Chef" Vusi Ndlovu

Vusi Ndlovu was not supposed to be a chef. A chance reply, a sprinkling of rebellion and a runaway story on an overnight train to South Africa landed him in the kitchen - his tenacity kept him there.

Billed as one of the best young chefs in the world, he's constantly creating projects away from the plate: The African Culinary Library, a Coachella-style traveling African food festival, a clothing range of chefs wear and an NGO to help feed child-headed homes in Africa.
