Siddharth Ahuja is the chef director at Gymkhana, the two-MICHELIN-star Indian restaurant in Mayfair, London. With more than nine years at JKS Restaurants, he has spent the last eight leading the team at Gymkhana, culminating in a second MICHELIN star in February 2024. He is recognized for meticulous attention to detail and a rigorous commitment to India’s culinary heritage and excellence.
Ahuja’s career began in Delhi, where he trained with Taj Hotels before joining the Oberoi Group while completing a postgraduate program. He gained valuable experience at The Oberoi Udaivilas—then named the world’s best hotel by Travel & Leisure—and held a series of leadership roles in luxury dining before joining JKS in 2015.
At Gymkhana, Ahuja’s leadership extends beyond cooking to culture: he fosters a high-achieving environment that meets the standards of two MICHELIN stars and the expectations of guests. The menu emphasizes the purity of classic Indian cuisine. Ahuja maintains this focus in close collaboration with JKS co-founder and Food and Creative Director Karam Sethi, who opened Gymkhana in 2013.
