The Chef

As co-owner of 55 Hospitality, Jenn Saesue has helped shape New York City’s Thai dining scene with restaurants such as Fish Cheeks and Bangkok Supper Club. Born in Bangkok, she moved to the United States at age 12 and opened her first Thai restaurant at 22. In 2016 she partnered with chef Chat Suansilphong and his brother, Ohm, to open Fish Cheeks, a seafood-focused Thai restaurant that quickly earned acclaim. Saesue and Suansilphong expanded the group with Bangkok Supper Club in 2023, a restaurant inspired by Thai street food and night markets. They added a second Fish Cheeks in Williamsburg and launched Bub’s Bakery, an allergen-free bakery, in 2025.
