Building on the success of last year's inaugural event New York City is ramping up for the second ever edition of the Harlem Eat Up! Festival; the happening festival of food, arts and culture of upper Manhattan.
Taking place between May 15-17, the four day event was the original brainchild of chef Marcus Samuelsson, owner of the ever popular neighbourhood restaurant, Red Rooster along with friend and Harlemite marketer Herb Karlitz.
This year's event already has a strong line-up of chef favourites confirmed, including Daniel Boulud, Alex Stupak, Alex Guarnaschelli and Emeril Lagasse to mention but a few.
Asisde from sampling craft beer, fine wines and bespoke cocktails, a number of one off events will entertain and tickle those taste buds. Come Dine In Harlem! is a one-night-only multi-room dinner party for the ages, hit The Harlem Stroll, where Harlem’s food, art and culture will seamlessly converge or take the chance to watch some of the the culinary masters at work on the EatUp! Main Stage.
The event comes with a feel good factor and supports local charities Citymeals-on-Wheels, Harlem Park to Park and Historic Harlem Park charities. For more information and tickets, visit the event website.
