Last October, more than 1,000 small-scale farmers from all corners of the world gathered in Turin for the Terra Madre & Salone del Gusto, a biannual event sponsored by the international Slow Foodassociation.
It was a spectacular event with top notch guest speakers like Alice Waters, activist Vandana Shiva and José Graziano Da Silva, director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
