With herbal and fruity aromas, this white wine comes from the Maremma region of Tuscany in Central Italy. This medium- bodied wine is well-suited to vegetable or seafood risotti and also pairs well with first courses of pasta or seafood. We suggest a Vermentino della Maremma from the Val delle Rose estate in the Scansano, a zone known for sandy soils and maritime breezes. A great example of these fine wines comes from Cecchi estate.
