A new temporary restaurant concept from Thomas Keller is set to open January 21st inside the Silverado Resort, California.
TheAd Lib pop-up promises to serve a "a classic American menu of traditional recipes prepared with the same quality ingredients and execution our guests have come to expect."
Ad Lib will open Thursday to Mondays with the L.A. Times reporting menu items include a short rib Wellington, fruitwood-smoked kielbasa with beer mustard, a Black Angus chop, and root-vegetable potpie.
The idea fills a nice gap for Keller as the French Laundry closes during the same period for renovation. There’s no exact dates on when the temporary restaurant is set to close but Keller hints at the French Laundry reopening late in 2015.
