S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino returns after travelling the world to discover international high cuisine.
In this 16th edition, Spain will be the protagonist with some of its most famous starred chefs cooking over 12 official nights in the most beautiful locations of Italian Switzerland.
Like every year, the event will officially begin on Monday 26 September with the Grand Opening, at the Hotel Splendide Royal in Lugano, dedicated to the chefs of Swiss Deluxe Hotels, and will continue with the official evenings. It will close on Sunday 13 November, again at the Hotel Splendide Royal, where the event will be wrapped up by some of the Ticinesi chefs of the Grandes Tables Suisses.
Sapori Ticino will be an unmissable opportunity for gourmets to celebrate the best of hospitality after the turmoil of recent years and to enjoy the cooking of guest chefs Paco Pérez, Joan Roca, Mario Sandoval, Álvaro Salazar and many more.
Dany Stauffacher, creator of the event says: "We have been able to count on the collaboration of Don Rafael Anson, President of the Ibero-American Academy of Gastronomy and Honorary President of the International Academy of Gastronomy, and also we have as partners [like] the Comunidad De Madrid. We are proud to continue in the cultural and touristic exchange that is the basis of our festival ".
There will be recurring events such as promotional evenings over Gotthard dedicated to Ticino, a Ladies Night and the Dejeuner Au Chateau.
