In what has to be one of the biggest ever bumps to earth in the world, staff at a New Jersey restaurant are realising today that they bought the winning Powerball Lottery ticket for the wrong day.
In the video below, staff at Grissini's Restaurant are seen joyfully celebrating, cuddling and kissing as they realise they read out all the numbers for a $900 million pot of cash.
That’s just over $21 million for each of the 42 staff at the restaurant - the one major problem? They read out the numbers from the wrong day - that’s right, the whole crew are jumping for joy at the wrong dates numbers.
It’s being widely reported online with NBC New York getting the ball rolling, however, it seems odd that someone just so happened to be filming as they read out the numbers and that, unlike most syndicates, they don’t play the same numbers every week.
Our bet is that it’s a viral ploy but the video has not been monetized on YouTube - usually a sign that it's a planned move - if it’s real, and many believe it is, what a crappy end to a shift.
