The Michelin Guide announced its selection for Spain and Portugal 2020 this month and Cenador de Amós, by chef Jesús Sánchez is the newest three-star on the list.
Set in a charming 18th century mansion-palace lying in the Cantabrian village of Villaverde de Pontones, diners at Cenador de Amós are led through a culinary journey with different courses served in different rooms throughout the property to evoke different emotions according to the space.
Chef Sánchez’s proposal is firmly rooted in Cantabrian flavours he is an active member of Spain’s gastronomic education system, a public speaker and author. He has long been recognised with Spanish national awards, now with a third Michelin star, his profile rises internationally also.
