You don't really think of foods as contraband but one look at this infographic from Culinary Schools shows us that there are many illegal foods around the world.
Hagis, fugu liver and the Asian fruit mangosteen have all been banned from export or import in certain countries and each for their own reason.
The traditional Scottish food haggis is prohibited in America, fugu liver is so toxic it is illegal to serve in Japan and mangosteen is banned in North America and Europe because of fears that the ingredient may help to spread Asian fruit flies.
