Elite Traveler has published its annual list of the Top 100 Restaurants in the World.
For a fifth year consecutively Grant Achatz’sAlinea restaurant in Chichago has come out on top, followed by Azurmendi in second and Eleven Madison Park in third.
The list is compiled through a poll of Elite Traveller readers who are asked to ‘vote on their favorite restaurants, chefs, young chefs and which culinary maestro deserves the lifetime Elite Traveler achievement award.’
The Young Chef of The Year award went to Esben Holmboe Bang from the Maaemo restaurant in Norway. Chef of The Year was awarded to Gordon Ramsay.
The team at Don Julio have taken over an unloved corner of Buenos Aires. Organic produce harvested at the community-focused urban garden Huerta Luna de Enfrente will exclusively benefit local soup kitchens. Read on for the full story.
