Paris' Saint-Ouen flea market is the site of the newly opened Ma Cocotte, Philippe Stark's new high-concept bistro, a place the French used to define “chic canteen”.
The 250-seat cafeteria-style restaurant is housed within an industrial loft with two terraces. The owners Philippe and Fabienne Amzalak have already collaborated with Pilippe Stark at the restaurant Bon. The kitchen is run by chef Yannick Papin, whose Asian touch was already enjoyed by Bon’s restaurant guests.
“Ma cocotte is not a restaurant, it's a bowl. A 1000mq bowl of hot soup, a bowl of steaming coffee, a bowl of fragrant tea, a bowl of wine… Ma cocotte, in a beautiful winter morning, is fire, arms welcoming to warm your heart and body.“
