Discovering the exact locations of your favourite scenes isn’t always easy, which is why there are several online sites to help you out. The initial searches can be done with a film title, and a great resource is the Internet Movie Database, which allows you to even search according to filming locations. But the site Movie Locations, is a veritable online tourist guide for movie locations, and you can conduct your search according to geography, actor, director, or film title. There’s also behind-the-scenes information, trivia, photos, and useful links.
Users can also identify film locations near their own homes on Filmaps, where you can register and put little flags on a map indicating your favourite film locations. It currently contains the precise addresses for almost two thousand films.
