These magnificently creative chairs were part of a competition hosted by Design Within Reach, which challenged artists to come up with unique designs for the 2013 DWR Champagne Chair Contest. The results are completely amazing, as you'll see for yourself.
The top prize went to Miwa F. for her Rocking Chaise; second place went to Jeffery Molter for designing a folding chair and a chic travel case; and third place was awarded to Aaron Padilla for his F8 Chaise, which has a beautiful figure 8 pattern and a seat made of cork decorated with foil basketweave.
