A Biscuit Cake That Bake Itself, Thanks To Stop Motion

Have you ever wished a cake could just bake itself? That was the inspiration behind this whimsical food animation that features diving eggs, marching marshmallows and cookies that crumble themselves.

The video was made by Irish chap Alan Travers to promote his girlfriend Dee's entry into a cooking contest. Dee is known for her chocolate biscuit cake, which she entered into the Chef Factor, an Irish cooking competition run by food producers Cully and Sully.

This was Alan's first attemp at making a stop-motion video. It took one week to shoot 2,485 photos and edit two panning videos. Alan, you've earned the Fine Dining Lovers seal of approval.
