Who doesn’t love Bill Murray? Worshipped for his acting chops in classic films such as Caddyshack and Lost in Translation, the former “Ghostbuster” has recently been making the news more for his extra curricular antics, like turning up a student party in Scotland and bartending with the Wu–Tang Clan at the SXSW festival.
Holding court
This weekend Murray is getting back behind the bar at the opening of his son Homer’s new spot 21 Greenpoint in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of the same name. Murray will be mixing drinks and holding court Friday and Saturday. 21 Greenpoint is described as an upscale dining den, with dishes such as “steak tartare on roasted marrow bone, and a salmon pastrami sandwich with smoked trout on rye bread” on the menu according to NY Daily News.
Join the queue
Originally invite only, 21 Greenpoint will now be open to the public this weekend and while we don’t fancy your chances of getting in, you’ve got to give it a try right? It’s Bill Murray.
One more thing – should you tip?
