Looking for some interesting Halloween food art? Get a hold of the macabre work of Iranian artist Ashkan Honarvar. He's managed to turn ice cream and whipped cream into horror-inducing faces that will haunt you for days.
The creepy portraits are part of a series called Faces 5 which dates back to 2009 but are resurfacing on the web thanks to Halloween. Like much of Honarvar's work, the scary faces are meant to depict a darker side that resides in us.
The artist and photographer, who splits his time between The Netherlands and Norway, has made a career of exploring the streak of evil that is part of human nature, according to his website.
If Honarvar could turn ice cream and whipped cream into the stuff nightmares are made of then he's really onto to something. Like what you see? Swing on by the artist's website to view more of his amazing work.
