In what seems like a smart move, Airbnb now wants to take care of your restaurant reservations alongside your room bookings.
The company announced that in 16 US cities, their app will now allow people to reserve restaurants thanks to a partnership with Resy.
The company say they will start with around 650 different restaurants available to book in New York, Washington, D.C, San Francisco, New Orleans, Charleston, LA, Miami, Hamptons, Denver, Austin, Seattle, Raleigh/Durham, Atlanta, Nashville Portland, and Napa.
With more and more people traveling with food as a priority this is a clever shift for the room booking app. They also claim they eventually want to give users the option to book a place at a table alongside other Airbnb travellers, a great idea for those on a solo mission.
