Michelin Tokyo 2017 was released today and, even though the city gained two new two-starred restaurants, the big news should really be that the city’s 12, yes 12, three-starred Michelin restaurants all retained their status at the very stop of the culinary ladder.
Michelin stars in Tokyo clock in at a startling rate, this year marked the 10th year consecutively that Tokyo has claimed the title as the city holding the most Michelin starred restaurants in the world.
