21 Bars and Restaurants Among 'Greatest Places in the World'
24 August, 2018
Confirming what many of us serious food lovers already know, Time magazine has named an astounding 21 bars and restaurants among its first ever list of the World's Greatest Places.
The list features must visit destinations around the world, including national monuments and parks, museums and hotels – but nearly a quarter of its suggestions for "100 destinations to experience right now" are restaurants we know and love.
Those restaurants include chef Ana Roš's Hiša Franko in Kobarid, Slovenia, which this year entered the World's 50 Best Restaurants list for the first time, Paul Pairet's ultra secretive Ultraviolet in Shanghai, Central in Lima, and Noma in Copenhagen (above).
See all 21 bars and restaurants below. It just goes to show how much gastro-tourism is on everyone's radar now.
