Europe comes out on top in the TripAdvisor list of the world’s best restaurants. Spain, France, UK and Italy all have three entries to the world’s 20 top restaurants while New York has two. Thailand, Peru, Mexico also have one each in the Michelin star heavy listing that is compiled from users’ reviews of their dining experiences. Au Crocodile in Strasbourg holds top spot, while Martin Berasategui and El Celler de Can Roca in Spain make up the top three.

7. TRB HUTONG, BEIJING, CHINA
“Modern, upscale international cuisine that isn't overdone or fussy. The clean, straightforward decor and lighting pair beautifully with the menus.”
Contemporary European cuisine served in a lovingly restored 600-year-old temple. Managed by ex-Boulud marvel Ignace Lecleir.
At @trb_cn Hutong, starters are called preludes. Things won't get any more haute French cuisine in China than at this Beijing gastronomic restaurant. From their 'Marine & Marvellous' selection, I tried the sea urchin. Five grammes of Baeri caviar are optional. This dish made with rice, avocado and seaweed was so marvellous I could have it for lunch, dinner and breakfast! @michelinguide hasn't discovered China yet. Yesterday, @tripadvisor contributers elected TRB Hutong the best restaurant in Asia. You may want to follow TRB. And me. I might know where I'm going. ? #seaurchin #starter #prelude #trb #trbhutongbeijing is a #beijing #topquality #frenchcuisine #beijingfood #star #trbhutong #chefsofinstagram #tripadvisor #gastronomy minus the official #michelin #michelinstars #tasteofbeijing #amazingdestinationsbelgium
