Galerie is a restaurant and cocktail lounge on the Sunset Strip, positioned between Chateau Marmont and the Are We on Air? kiosk-o-thèque. Conceived as a neighborhood dining room with a cultural bent, it brings together food, cocktails, music, and rotating art exhibitions under one roof.
Executive Chef Gabriel Lindsey, formerly of Dudley Market, leads a menu rooted in American bistro cooking with French influence. The offerings range from small plates such as Shrimp Cocktail with caper rémoulade and Wagyu Beef Skewer with shishito and black garlic to larger dishes including a Galerie Burger with Gruyère and “French Onion” sauce and a half roast chicken with preserved lemon and brown jus. Seasonal vegetables play a central role, reflecting a California-driven approach.
The cocktail program, developed by Beverage Director Dushan Zaric, co-founder of Employees Only, focuses on updated classics and ingredient-driven builds. Drinks such as the Double Take, infused with butterfly pea flower and mezcal, and a reworked Harvey Wallbanger sit alongside spritzes, margaritas, and spirit-forward options. Zero-proof cocktails are also available.
Beyond the kitchen and bar, Galerie functions as a gathering space for live jazz, DJ sets, and quarterly art exhibitions curated by Tyler Santangelo. The interior blends mid-century references with contemporary design elements, including marble floors, sculptural seating, and a dedicated bar and patio.
With late-night bites, a rare outdoor smoking permit, and programming that extends into the evening, Galerie aims to bridge dinner and nightlife on the Sunset Strip.
