French chef Jacques Pépin is known for his incredible culinary skills, but more importantly for his influence on gastronomy in the United States and beyond. The 86-year-old has inspired generations of chefs, restaurateurs and home cooks, but now he inspires them in a new way, through his art.
The chef’s love-affair with one of the most important ingredients - the chicken - is represented through his paintings of over 30 years in his new book, Jacques Pépin, Art of the Chicken: A Master Chef’s Stories and Recipes of the Humble Bird.
