This year was full of excitement. We covered big topics, interesting news, food events around the world and featured dozens of exclusive interviews with some of the world's finest chefs. Here's a look back at all the fun we had in 2017.
During 2017, 210 semi-finalists from around the globe competed in their respective local competitions with the hope of being crowned the best young chef in region, and ultimately securing a place in the Grand Finale.
In June 2018, the 21 local winners will compete at the Grand Finale in Milan, each with a signature dish that will be tasted by a jury of seven world-renowned chefs who will ultimately crown the S.Pellegino Young Chef 2018.

Fine Dining Lovers is an exclusive media partner of Food on the Edge symposium held Galway, Ireland.
This year the food symposium returned with a bang and served as a platform for chefs from all over the world to address serious topics like the roles of chefs in the development of a country.
