The Swiss design studio Mauro Turin Architects have published some concept designs to build a wine museum in the Swiss region of Lavaux.
Based on thTe idea of historic vineyard terraces that date back the the eleventh century, the museum includes a huge walkway that is cantilevered on the side of a mountain.
Dezeen reports that the architect wanted to create something that would tell the story of the local area and create a landmark to attract tourists from all over the world.
The concept would allow a magical walk from the Alps and protruding over Lake Geneva and showing off the wonderful vineyards of Lavaux.
The design has not yet been approved but local press and community groups have expressed interest in seeing the concept become a reality.
