In this revealing video from Glamour magazine, New York City pastry chef Christina Tosi opens up about her passion, work ethic and the freedom that comes with embracing failure.
Tosi is the chef/owner of Momofuku Milk Bar which rose to fame large in part to unique goodies like crack pie, compost cookies and cereal milk ice cream.
In the video, which is part of the magazine's The Making of Me series, Tosi confesses she's a ''ride or die kinda gal'' and that she never really though of herself as a ''female cook.''
She goes into great detail about embracing the risk of failure and using it as motivation: "How you approach diving in and not being afraid to fail, and then how you recover from failure defines who you are so much more than the successes that might come."
