We’ve documented the project of blogger Allen Hemberger before. In 2008 he began slowly working his way through every dish in the Alinea cookbook, learning to cook them all, no matter how technical.
The book is famously complex thanks to difficult and time consuming techniques used by chef Grant Achatz and his team.
Hemberger, who was actually invited to the Alinea kitchen by Achatz to learn some of the more tricky parts of recipes, will release his own book which documents his quest to recreate the dishes.
Ahead of the publication, the Foodie channel have released this wonderful video with Hemberger that reveals just how much work went into mastering all the recipes.
