Ukraine Withdraws from Bocuse d'Or

The team of chefs representing Ukraine has confirmed its withdrawal from the Bocuse d'Or Europe, which is due to take place in Budapest on 23-24 March.

"As it was most probably to happen, Ukraine has officially confirmed that they will not compete on Bocuse d’Or Europe," said Pauline Pistre, Bocuse d’Or project manager, in a statement. "We all clearly understand that they have other priorities in the ongoing conflict. We also would like to emphasize all the work they have done to train for their first participation and we are sure we will have them back in the future."

Team Russia had already withdrawn from the competition this week, blaming problems with travel and logistics.
