Since this dip is a take on classic jalapeno poppers you'll want to preserve the flavor of the original. Which means you'll need fresh jalapenos, cream cheese, and bacon (although this ingredient is optional if you are vegetarian).
The fun in making a jalapeno popper dip is that you can be creative with the add-ins. We like adding corn, scallions and plenty of grated cheese to our recipe. However, you can use whatever ingredients you have on hand.
