A British couple have been caught up in an embarassing dine and dash incident whilst on holiday on the Greek island of Rhodes.
According to the Mirror, the couple in question simply got up and left at the end of their meal in a taverna in Rhodes Old Town (above). When confronted by staff, the couple reportedly waived their wristbands from the all inclusive resort they were staying in, believing that the 'all inclusive' deal covered the whole island.
After it was explained to them that the deal only applied to their resort, the unamed couple paid up and left. Apparently this isn't this first time it has happened according to the restaurant owner, although there's no suggestion solely to Brits, and must have been pretty embarassing for the couple in question – but hilarious for us.
