Here’s a crazy video that shows a special collaboration between Bompas & Parr and Syracuse University who teamed up to take the some of the Universities special equipment and use it for cooking.
The team worked with the volcano expert Proffesor Robert Wysocki who helped the guys cook steak and corn over lava heat.
The lava comes out at 2,100 degrees Fahrenheit and because of this extreme heat it certainly doesn’t make for conventional cooking.
The food cooks quickly and seems to burn before cooking thoroughly - perhaps with the grill a little higher lava cooking could even be perfected.
