The Italian contingency is going strong in the States this week as Identità Golose - the food organisation from Milan - hold their annual events in New York and Chicago. Identità New York started September 30th with masterclasses from Andrea Migliaccio, Tony Mantuano, Moreno Cedroniand Mario Batali. These continued throughout the week with more masterclasses and special dinners cooked by the likes of Massimo Bottura, Carlo Cracco, Davide Scabin and Lidia Bastianich.
Tomatoes, milk, breads and pastas were just a few of the topics touched on by the chefs, who took to the stage at Eataly in New York to present their ideas.
