Who is Cyril Lignac?
Known as France's "favourite chef" Cyril Lignac specialises in chocolate, ice cream, pastry. He cut his teeth alongside three- star chef Alain Passard at Arpège and pastry chef Pierre Hermé before embarking on a successful career with a porfolio of restaurants and bistros to his name in France.
Lignac is also business partner to pastry chef Benoît Couvrand with whom he created La Pâtisserie, a local shop where traditional and contemporary creations take pride of place; and in 2016 La Chocolaterie, dedicated entirely to cocoa. The duo now oversee 7 Paris boutiques.
