Emeril Lagasse, the original king of food television, announced yesterday he will be debuting a new Florida-based show headed to the Cooking Network.
The show will be called Emeril Florida and is set to air in January, according to Click Orlando. The first episode will focus on Orlando, the city where Emeril already has two restaurants: Emeril's Orlando in and Emeril's Tchoup Chop, located at the Universal CityWalk and Universal Orlando Resort, respectively.
Emeril first shot to stardom on the Food Network where he hosted Emeril Live and became popular for his catch phrase ''Bam!'' His culinary empire extends to restaurants, cookbooks, television shows and cookware.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
