After boiling and grilling an iPad, why not deep-frying it? Brooklyn-based photographer Henry Hargreaves (that we already featured for his bacon letter project) in collaboration with food stylist Caitlin Levin deep-fried a series of electronics equipment.
The series can be taken as a critique on consumerist culture, in which working technological devices are frequently discarded in favour of newer models.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
