New York (and the world) may be all about the cronut right now but that's not deterring Sprinkles Cupcakes from opening its first cupcake ATM in Manhattan.
The cupcake shop will expand its location at 780-782 Lexington Ave. to a total of 7,000-square-feet square feet, The Daily Meal reports. The new space will be used for the production of ice cream and to house the cupcake ATM.
Sprinkles will stock the cupcake ATM with sweet treats in flavors like banana, ginger lemon and triple cinnamon which will be available for customers 24/7.
The company already has a cupcake ATM at its Beverly Hills location so it was about time New York caught up to the trend.
Back in April, the Wall Street Journal predicted the cupcake bubble but soon burst. But will the cupcake ATM keep it alive?
