Dominique Ansel, the creator of the cronut, is seeking a full time pastry cook to join him working at his Ansel Bakery in New York.
If you’re a keen pastry cook with skills in ice cream and sorbet, pastry production and Viennoisserie, Ansel particularly wants to hear from you.
Applicants must have 1-2 years prior experience working as a pastry cook and some culinary school experience is preferred.
The role of working with one of the most celebrated pastry chefs of recent times is no easy task. Some weeks are expected to clock in at 50 hours and the obvious early mornings needed to feed the ever growing cronut queue mean hard work will be essential, however, this is a great experience to work at a bakery classed as one of the best in New York and perhaps one of the best in the U.S.
