Everyone’s favourite hunger-inducing, salivation-triggering watch, 'Chef’s Table', will return for a new series this September, this time focusing on pizza.
'Chef’s Table: Pizza', which launches on Netflix on 7 September, will take a closer look at one of the world’s favourite foods, through the eyes of those that have mastered it.

The featured pizzaioli for what is the eighth season of the show (including spin-offs) are Chris Bianco from Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix, Arizona, Sarah Minnick from Lovely’s Fifty Fifty in Portland, Oregon and Ann Kim of Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Pizzeria Lola and others; Yoshihiro Imai of restaurant Monk in Kyoto, Japan; and representing the birthplace of pizza, Italy, Gabriele Bonci, who has restaurants in Rome, and Franco Pepe (pictured) from Pepe in Grani in Caiazzo, near Naples, regarded by many as the best pizza maker in the world.

The series, from 'Jiro Dreams of Sushi' creator David Gelb, is a feast of stunning food cinematography interwoven with deeply personal stories from the world’s best chefs and is credited with helping to make stars of the likes of chefs Massimo Bottura, Ana Roš and Gaggan Anand. The last series, released in 2020, focused on BBQ.
The annual Kita festival, Malaysia’s food and gastronomy symposium and series of events returns to Kuching, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in September and October.
