The 13th edition of the S.Pellegrino Cooking Cup was held in Venice between June 14th and 15th of 2013. The regatta and the cooking competition ended this past weekend with American Chef Paul Qui earning his victory and title of S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna Young Chef of the Year Award. The 32 year old Chef from the United States, delighted the judges with his Chawan Mushi recipe. Paul Qui and his team also announced the opening of his restaurant qui on Thursday, June 20th, 2013. Located at 1600 E. Sixth Street in Austin, qui is one of the most anticipated restaurant openings of the summer, bringing seasonally inspired dishes to Austin’s culinary scene under the direction of Chef and owner, Paul Qui.
