He’s done it again. Brooklyn chef Björn De la Cruz, creator of the $100 donut, has developed an even more luxurious treat that sells for $150.
His Patrón Platinum Donut was created to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. The batter is infused with rose petals and the inside reveals a creamy ginger-jalapeño margarita jelly. The piece de resistance is the sweet tequila frosting topped with sheets of edible silver and platinum.
This mouthwatering platinum donut is only available at Manila Social Club during Cinco de Mayo week but you can feast your eyes on the restaurant's Instagram feed for more delicious treats.
