Avocado toast is delicious. Rich, buttery, creamy...it's the perfect vegan alternative to eggs and toast. Now, the famous breakfast treat has gotten a trendy makeover in the form of a rose, an avocado rose that is.
The avocado rose is hot on Instagram right now and if you are wondering how to make one we've got to know-how. The cool thing is you don't have to be a pro in the kitchen to make this stunning garnish.
TIPS FOR A PERFECT AVOCADO ROSE
1. Forgo overly ripe avocados. While those are great for making guacamole you'll need a ripe but firm avocado, as you'll need it to stay intact while you slice it.
2. Oil your work surface. This will help you mold the avocado slices into a beautiful rose shape without sticking.
3. Practice, practice, practice! While making avocado roses isn't rocket science you may need to do it a couple of times before you get it just right.
