You'd be forgiven for thinking that the pictures above and below are from some far flung galaxy or that they're taken from the depths of the ocean but they are in fact mushrooms.
Created by the London based photographer David Robinson who works to cut mushrooms into interesting shapes and rearrange them into small space like scenes.
The work feature in a book called the Mushroom Picker, a children's book that tells the story of quirky mushroom characters using Robinson's creations.
From housing estates, to space shuttles, birds and explosions - they're all crafted with mushrooms.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
