Television chef Andrew Zimmern has set out to explain the ever growing categories found within the James Beard Foundation Awards.
As part of Zimmern's latest podcast, Go Fork Yourself, he sets out to explain each catergory and the many nominations included.
Zimmern was actually meant to be one of the judges of the 2013 awards but pulled out because of other commitments. He is also nominated for a number of categories.
The podcast is a great listen anyway and hearing Zimmern breakdown all the chefs on the list in a great way of gaining a nice snapshot of the American culinary ladder.
