That's the concept behind Emilie Kröner'sWhite Animal Life project. The Amsterdam-based designer has created a line of animals that serve as vessels for olive oil and vinegar, salt shakers and even napkin holders.
The project was inspired by the 17th and 18th century animals that were used as decoration on tureens.
Rather than just being faux-meat, Mamu is different. It's a mushroom-based meat alternative that's getting its launch in restaurants so that chefs can test its versatility. Flora Tsapovsky investigates.
